How to Clean an Acrylic Display Box 2022-07-21 09:04:05

Acrylic display cases are a great way to display precious items and handicrafts because they provide a clear and seamless view of whatever they contain. Sometimes, however, a dirty acrylic surface can negatively impact the viewing experience due to a combination of factors such as dust particles in the air, grease on your fingertips, and airflow. It is natural for the surface of an acrylic display case to become slightly hazy if it has not been cleaned for a period of time.

While our professional-grade materials are already resistant to dust and grime, we recommend that customers regularly inspect the surfaces of their boxes and perform cleaning procedures as soon as they notice dust, dirt or oil. This allows their acrylic display boxes and museum glass windows to look their best and maintain display clarity.

Our custom acrylic enclosures are easy to maintain and clean. They should only be cleaned when they're dirty or dirty - if they're not dirty, they don't need to be cleaned regularly. To remove dirt, wipe the box with a lint-free cloth or sponge (not paper towels) and water or a professional acrylic cleaner. We recommend Acrifix, an antistatic cleaner specially designed to restore clarity to acrylic surfaces. Never wipe the acrylic case with a dry cloth.

To complete the cleaning process, use a soft cloth to apply the acrylic polish or slurry directly to the acrylic surface.
